Found out my design work was plagiarized this past week.
At first I was like
I thought some absurd mistake had been made
I wanted to make excuses for them
But NO.
I had to stand up for myself and my hard work.
I sent a polite but firm email asking for them to cease and desist
But the entire time I wanted to be like
I really held back from being too
I just kept thinking
and
You work REALLY REALLY HARD trying to differentiate yourself
Seriously….It’s exhausting
Only to have someone rip off something created specifically for YOU
I’m glad I sent the email
But I sort of felt bad for them if stealing from me is the best they can do
It was just really pathetic
Later that day almost all of the content that had been stolen was removed
Good because I didn’t want to pursue it any further.
